Attending your company’s annual convention can be a life transforming experience.
It’s a fact that the people who attend their company’s events become the leaders and build profitable businesses.
A convention is the place where you learn the latest information about your company. It’s the place where new products and other valuable information are presented.
The annual convention highlights what has happened during the past year and, at least at SendOutCards, honors those who have made outstanding contributions in the company. We are a stand on your feet and celebrate the achievement of others kind of company.
Conventions are a source of inspiration.I remember walking across the stage when I became a Senior Manager. I was congratulated by all of the people who were ranked above me, including the CEO and Founder. What an amazing experience that was! As scary as it was, I really liked being on stage and am determined I will be there again, at our 2014 convention, to recognize that I have advanced to the rank of Executive!
My team members saw me, know that I am serious about what I am doing and want to support me. They also want to see themselves on stage!
I’ve heard several people mention this as a plus for attending their convention. Most conventions have a “store” where people can see the company’s products firsthand and be able purchase them, without having to pay for shipping.
For SendOutCards, the opportunity to have your photo taken with the keynote speakers and leaders in the company including our CEO is priceless.
We have several members who have written books, which are available in the store along with books written by the keynote speakers, and have the opportunity to have these books signed by the authors.
Having the opportunity to meet people on your team and form new friendships is invaluable.
For most people and for me as well, one of the most important reasons for attending the convention is being able to have the opportunity to be with and socialize with other people in the same business who are excited and who are serious about making incredible things happen.
Our convention was held in Salt Lake City. It may not be your ideal venue; however, it’s where our home office is located and touring the facility is a highlight. We get to see the place where everything happens!
